Waystop vs Wanderlog.

Both put your days on a map and let your group plan together. The difference is who does the planning. In Wanderlog you build each day yourself, with an AI assistant on the side. In Waystop you ask Chat to plan a day and it comes back as one card: stops in order, lunch and dinner, with the opening hours and the travel time between them. One tap adds it. Then the plan comes along on the trip and tells you when to leave.

Free to plan every trip. $1.50 of Chat credit to start, no card needed.

Which one to pick

Questions

Is Waystop free like Wanderlog?

Planning is free in both. Waystop gives every account $1.50 of Chat credit with no card; after that, Chat, photo questions, web answers and imports use credit you add in the app, $5, $10 or $20 at a time, and it never expires. Wanderlog’s planner is free, with a yearly Pro subscription for offline access, route optimization and more AI messages.

Can I move a Wanderlog trip into Waystop?

Yes. Copy the itinerary text, or take screenshots of it, and paste them into Import. Waystop turns it into a day-by-day timeline with every place looked up on Google Maps.

Does Waystop have a website for planning on a laptop?

No. Waystop is an app for iPhone and Android. If you plan mostly at a desk, Wanderlog’s web planner is a real advantage.

Can my group plan together?

Yes, in both. In Waystop you invite people from the People screen as editors or viewers, and everyone sees the same plan on their phone. On a trip you own, your credit pays for their Chat messages too.
